It’s my second week taking part in the “Best of Beauty” Blog Challenge organised by the lovely Sam over at http://allthebuzz.co.uk/
This is week three of the #BOBBlogChallenge and the topic is, Makeup Must Haves!
My ultimate make up must have, has to be without doubt, my Makeup Forever Aqua Brow.
What is it: A long-lasting, smudge-proof eyebrow corrector that fills, defines, and lengthens brows.
As the brand suggest it lasts “forever”! I’ve had this same tube months and there’s still plenty left. I use it nearly everyday. I’d be lost without it. Simply apply the gel with an angled eyebrow brush. The result remains flawless throughout the day and holds up under all conditions (water, heat, etc). Aqua brow is available in 7 shades.
Another favourite of mine is the Fuschia, Brow-Wax-Splitz. I’ve only been using this since September 2013, after a friend of mine recommended the Fuschia brand to me. Fuschia Make-up, are a multi award winning Irish make-up company. Recently I’ve actually started using both the brow-wax-splitz and my Makeup Forever Aqua Brow together.
First I apply the brow-wax-splitz to the beginning of my brow, up to the point of arch, with my Face2 Pro shader 07 brush (available in Makeup Forever Clarendon street). Then taking my Makeup Forever Aqua Brow, I use my Twelve by Kent angled eyebrow brush from the point of arch to the end of brow. The angle of the brush and the consistancy of the gel create sharp precise lines.
This is not really a makeup, but it’s a must have lip therapie for me! Small but so mighty, I love my carmex 😀 I have them in all forms jars, sticks, and squeezable tubes. They’re floating about all over the place, hidden in my car, in numerous hand bags, my robe pockets, the top draw in the kitchen you’ll always find one close at hand. For me, there’s nothing better to sooth and moisturise my lips.
What is it: An oil-free foundation primer designed to remove shine with long lasting results.
This may be the most important member of my makeup family. I always use a primer, you’d be amazed at the difference it makes. “Applied before another cosmetic to improve coverage and lengthen the amount of time the cosmetic lasts on the face.” I genuinely find my make up stays on longer and the overall finish is flawless and fresh. I have normal skin so the All Mat, oil free primer is suited to my skin type. When choosing a primer you should consult the MUA as the Makeup Forever All Mat may not be the best option for you.
I’d just like to mention that Sam has been nominated for Blogger of the year at the Digital Media Awards which are taking place tomorrow. I’d like to wish her all the best. Bring home the gold Sam XX
